Can I change my beliefs? you once believed in Santa...the Easter Bunny....the tooth fairy??

Now, some of us (including me!) still like to believe in the magic of Santa but as the adult I am today, I no longer believe that a man in a red suit comes down the chimney to deliver gifts.

So - what is a belief? A definition that I like to use is that a belief is something that I hold to be true. Its not 'the' truth but its a version of a truth that I believe.

I'll give you an example. I may believe that 'all dogs are evil'. I don't...but I am more of a cat lady ;)

My belief may come from a childhood fear when a dog bit me, or it may have been formed from a belief I learnt from a parent.

The belief may be very real to me....but its my version of the truth, not the actual truth.

*All the dog lovers are now hating on my belief*

So, can I change my belief about 'all dogs are evil'?

Yes. I Can.

That's the magic of the subconscious mind. We often have so many unconscious and self limiting beliefs, we often don't know where they come from or how to change them.

Tony Robbins has done some great work in this space and has published many articles on how to change a belief that is not serving you well.
